First home buyers taking advantage of Vic stamp duty initiatives

Claremont Manor appeals to first home buyers

October 27th, 2017

With recent changes to first home owner stamp duty requirements across Victoria and New South Wales, young prospective home owners are feeling more empowered to step onto the property ladder for the first time.

This shift in behaviour has been particularly evident in sales at Poly Australia’s recently completed development, Claremont Manor in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

According to Poly Agency Victoria’s newly appointed Director Matthew Howard, Claremont Manor has seen very strong buyer enquiry from this segment of the market.

“In addition to the stamp duty initiatives alleviating some of the stress of buying their first home, young first home buyers have enjoyed the added benefit of being able to move into their new home faster at the completed Claremont Manor. Avoiding some of the stress associated with buying incomplete apartments in the area,” said Mr. Howard.

“This has allowed them to enjoy all the fantastic amenity that both Claremont Manor and the Forest Hill precinct has to offer,” he added.
