This Sunday July 30th staff from Poly Australia’s two offices in Sydney and Melbourne enjoyed planting trees in the sunshine for Planet Ark’s annual National Tree Day.
A sunny 26-degree day in the middle of winter in Sydney saw about 20 Poly employees gather at Lane Cove National Park joining forces with the community and the Lane Cove Council planting more than 800 trees on the day.
While in Victoria, equally sunny conditions saw a team of seven Poly soldiers plant much needed trees in the City of Kingston’s Mordialloc Creek Reserve.
2017 marked the first year that Poly Australia has taken part in Planet Ark’s National Tree Day, with the day being a staff favourite and huge success it is sure to become a fixture in Poly Australia’s annual event calendar.
Staff enjoyed a well-deserved barbeque after the event, rewarding their hard work and giving up their prized Sunday mornings.
Below are some pictures from the day.
